On Saturday, Nov 19, 2016, there was a guided workshop on Situational Photography, in Stranger Nightfire’s Mad Science Lab. Images taken at the workshop can be viewed at our Flickr page.
Situational Photography takes advantage of the environment to tell a narrative. It is enriched by costume, pose, lighting, and the relative body language of people in the picture.
The build was an excellent location to practice photo skills and using viewer tools. Tips and suggestions were offered by Tooyaa, including angle, zoom & pan, lighting, costume, and more.
The Mad Science Lab was also the venue for a special presentation of Frankenstein in October 2016:
